Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Edmonton Chapter Presents INFONET 2026 on April 16th, 2025
This year's Infonet theme, "Building Blocks of Edmonton," brings together architects, general contractors, designers, and suppliers to explore how thoughtful design, collaboration, and specification influence the built environment. The event aims to inspire meaningful industry connections while offering an engaging, hands-on experience.
We are excited to feature guest speaker Ron Wickman - architect and author of two industry-focused books -who will share insights on architectural thinking, design intent, and the importance of specifications in the construction process.
Following the presentation, attendees will participate in a LEGO-based design competition led by Master LEGO finalist Sam Malmberg. Using architectural LEGO kits, teams will work together to design and construct a structure based on a provided specification, mirroring real-world coordination and problem-solving within the building industry.
Completed projects will be evaluated by a judging panel and then offered in a silent auction, with proceeds supporting CSC Edmonton chapter initiatives.
